Brilliant, I've just used plastic before infact last one I cut a shotgun cartridge out do do it. This look like they have a lip to prevent movement?

These are a useful addition to toolkit when trying to gain some scope adjustment.
For the break barrels they are obviously useful to correct for barrel droop.
I install them to keep the vertical turret down a turn or two providing a touch more tension on the reticle spring which can improve target groups on the lower cost scopes I tend to use.

The plastic inserts are tapered for front and rear rings with directional arrows.
Caps tighten down nice and even avoiding pinch marks on scope tube.
