There's a shoot at 643 coming up. See copied details below.

Hi All,

Sunday February 23rd at 643FT will be the first round of the Southern area Grand Prix competition. Gates to open at 9.30. Shooting will commence after set up.

There will be a fair bit to do for set up so a helping hand would be very much appreciated. Some may not be sure what the GP comp is, we will explain on the morning.

Fees will be $15 per shooter. Those competing in the GP Series pay the NZAFTA Fee of $5 per entrant. Maximum power for rifles is 28fpe. Classes will be International class PCP and Spring piston (12fpe)

There will also be Sporter class for high power and those who just want to shoot their sporting rifle either Spring piston or PCP.

Any guests are welcome to join us or any from the North who want to extend their GP rounds.

Will update weather info closer to the day. Any questions please email me.

Cheers,

Of course. But bring your Meteor, just in case.

Yes, results will be posted on the other forum. All results and names/scores of those that shoot. It is the first comp of the year, and for those registered, it is also a Grand prix, but everyone gets to shoot together. I think the weather is looking ok, maybe slight westerlies, so judging the wind as usual is important.

I find it a bit hard to find stuff on it, and it's only really for organising things, so you haven't been missing anything.
